My experience at UT Lead Is going well so far. I learned how to survive in college and how there are so many programs and organizations I can be a apart of. In the beginning of the program I thought I won't have fun but It turned out to be the opposite and I really enjoyed It. The most important thing I learned In this program Is how to budget my money, also about what Is expected from me In college. I also learned about the services that Is offered here at UT and how to use It. The most important thing that I learned In the past three weeks Is how to live independently without my parents, which was really hard and still Is but not like In the beginning.
The program gave me the advantage to explore classes and how life can be like In the fall, and how I can be prepared for It. I think hat makes UT like home Is diversity, which makes UT really unique. I hope that what I really gained from this experience will stay with me through out college.
I am so glad that you feel you have benefited from the program, especially when it comes to budgeting! I made several mistakes in college that caused me to not have much money when I graduated. I could have avoided this situation had I managed my money a little better. Getting the advice that you have been getting in this program will help you to also avoid such mistakes.
ReplyDeleteI know you will do great here in college. Getting adjusted to living on your own away from your parents is an adjustment, but it is a necessary process. I know you will do GREAT!!!
